Job Summary

This position will support the advancement of automation and technology within the Global Operations Supply Chain Team of the Medical Segment. Candidate will be responsible for executing projects and initiatives spanning the full range of tech solution life-cycle including research, business case development, solution deployments and engaging in post deployment optimization.

In addition, the candidate will own the administration of existing technology programs. GOSC supports warehouse operations, profiling, and replenishment capabilities which includes over 65 distributions centers, replenishment centers and warehouses and more than 5,000 employees across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically manage and optimize existing technology programs, encompassing vendor corporate relationship management, serving as the primary internal site contact, meticulously tracking program financials, coordinating contract renewals, and ensuring vendor performance consistently meets or exceeds service level agreements.
  • Proactively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks to consistently meet deadlines, while transparently communicating project status (including health, forecast, issues, and risks) to all stakeholders.
  • Expertly balance competing project constraints such as scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to consistently deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Advanced Analytics, Operational Excellence, and Operations teams to execute innovative, forward-thinking projects that drive business value.
  • Consult directly with US Medical Distribution Senior Leadership to define and align on project objectives with significant long-term strategic implications for the organization.
  • Lead the definition of compelling use cases to ensure technology solutions effectively address critical business needs related to cost reduction, revenue generation, and working capital optimization.
  • Oversee the successful execution of innovation pilots, including the development and support of scalable deployment plans across multiple distribution center sites.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers at various management levels, frequently engaging with senior management to resolve complex operational issues and drive project/pilot/proof-of-concept success.
  • Champion customer requirements by supporting use case development focused on enhancing distribution services offerings.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of the Medical segment's automation and technology roadmap.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in related field preferred (automation, technology, supply chain, distribution, logistics, operational excellence, etc.)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes with both external technology vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of basic financial acumen as it pertains to warehousing P&L
  • Strong leadership skills and team building skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Travel expectations: 25%

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
