Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities projects to ensure subcontractors meet standards and deliver services, materials, and craftsmanship
• Plan and direct construction activities for internal resources and all involved subcontractors; lead coordination meetings between trades
• Maintain records of daily logs, progress reports, and financial reports related to the facilities construction
• Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies
• Approve work by subcontractors and handle related issues; authorize payments after inspection
• Maintain a safe work site by enforcing OSHA requirements and safety practices

SR. CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

As a critical member of the Texas Construction Projects team, you will be responsible for overseeing thecoordination and fieldexecution offacilitiesconstruction projects at Starbase. You will work withdesign engineers,construction project managers, facilitiesand maintenancetechnicians, vendors, and internal partners to support these goals. You will have the opportunity to drive positive changes and own projects from start to finish, with the goal of making SpaceX projects into world-class facilities. This position is based in South Texas (Brownsville/South Padre area).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate facilities projectstoensure vendors meet standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship
• Plan and direct construction activitiesof internal resources as well as all involved subcontractors for each phase of construction andlead any coordination meetings between trades
• Work hand-in-hand with the Texas Construction Projects team to maintainaccurate records of daily logs, progress reports, and financial reports related to the construction of facilities
• Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate any discrepancies
• Approve work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues
• Authorize payments of subcontractors upon thorough inspection of work
• Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits, and observing OSHA requirements and anyapplicableagencies' regulations
• Verify all checklists are complete and inspections are scheduled and passed
• Monitor cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up
