SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP (SpaceX) is seeking a Sr. Construction Engineer to design and manage advanced manufacturing facilities. You will lead complex projects from inception to completion, collaborating with engineers and trade partners while ensuring on-time, under-budget delivery.
With 5+ years of relevant experience, the right candidate will have a background in civil or structural engineering and must excel in a dynamic environment. The position is based in Hawthorne, CA, and comes with competitive compensation, including comprehensive benefits.

SR. CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
As a member of the HQ construction team, you will design, build, and activate some of the world’s most technically advanced manufacturing facilities. You will execute complex construction projects and infrastructure improvements from cradle to grave, operating autonomously to solve diverse and complex problems. You will manage multiple projects, work briskly in a dynamic environment, and collaborate with construction engineers, architects, trade partners, and internal customers to drive global impact. All SpaceX construction engineers serve additionally as project managers and supers – this is a construction management role per industry standards. The position is based in Hawthorne, CA.
Pay Range: Senior Construction Engineer: $135,000 – $190,000 per year.
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
