Citizens in Pittsburgh is seeking a senior professional to close and manage a portfolio of moderately to high complex lead agent syndicated transactions, including CRE and Construction loans. You will support credit management through loan distribution and uphold risk controls.
Responsibilities include reviewing agreements for compliance, communicating with investors and partners, booking and distributing transactions, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior staff.

The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of closing and managing a portfolio of moderately to high complex lead agent and member syndicated transactions. The position supports the strategic goals of credit management through loan distribution, and the incumbent will have responsibility for managing the reputation and operational risk associated with these transactions. Incumbent will negotiate loan agreements; communicate with investors, business partners and counsel; enforce risk controls; maintain data governance and comply with appropriate policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Perform a qualitative review of syndicated loan agreements (including CRE and Construction Loan agreements) and related documents for compliance with the loan approval, adherence to policies and regulations and to mitigate operational and reputation risk.
Effectively manage, as Administrative Agent, the investors by ensuring timely, proper and effective communication utilizing market standard processes (SyndTrak , etc)
Book, fund and manage distribution of assigned transactions within the Bank’s loan accounting and/or loan trading systems.
Ensure the highest-level data quality, including all financial data, for assigned portfolio.
Interact with all Business Lines to provide seamless execution of closings
Resource to junior level colleagues with process and procedures. May act as proxy for the Team Leader in team leaders’ absence or meeting conflicts
5+ years experience in the closing and/or administration of lead agent syndicated transactions required
Subject matter expert for understanding and managing the closing and administrative needs associated with complex syndicated transactions and trading assets
Proven success in all facets of the syndicated loan process, including operational systems, financial, regulatory, accounting and customer service.
Details are oriented to maintain high degree of accuracy in execution and data quality
Comprehensive analytical ability to facilitate complex problem resolution
Well developed written and verbal communication skills
Adept at PC and mainframe applications
End-to-end onboard booking experience requires, within the LoanIQ system preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
In Office: 4 days a week
The salary range for this position is $39.90 - $55.76 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
