Job summary

Oteemo Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our hands-on engineering consulting team, guiding a small group of Cloud Engineers to design end-to-end solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

You will engage C-Suite stakeholders to advocate robust infrastructure designs. The ideal candidate has 8+ years as a systems administrator focusing on Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux, plus leadership experience and IaC proficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a systems administrator in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team of engineers.
• Experience building and delivering engineering presentations for C-Suite leaders and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, EKS, RKE2, K3D, OpenShift, etc.), with AKS preferred.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and Linux administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef; Terraform preferred).
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience automating development and infrastructure tasking.
• Hands-on experience implementing and integrating security tooling into the operational stack.
• Must have one of the following: Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, CCNA Security.

Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team of hands-on engineering consultants, supporting customer development, test, and production environments. This role is for an experienced Platform and Infrastructure Architect capable of identifying and implementing end-to-end solutions for a large, complex system of systems across both cloud and hybrid on-premise environments. You'll function as a subject matter expert for the customer, leading a small team of Cloud Engineers to identify, propose, develop, and implement infrastructure and platform solutions — while advocating your designs effectively with both C-Suite leaders and non-technical staff.

• Proof of completed training or coursework in one of the following: Linux+, Red Hat, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proof of completed training in Microsoft Azure covering both AZ-104 and AZ-305.
