We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.

Position: Sr. Civil/Site Engineer | Project Manager

We seek a professional who will play key technical and managerial roles in the design, planning, and implementation of site civil design/development projects. You will leverage your expertise in site design and problem-solving skills while collaborating with institutions/municipal agencies. From concept to final plan submission, you will be involved in all stages of the design process to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

• This role involves internal collaboration within our cross-functional team and company culture.
• You will act as the Design Lead and/or manage all project aspects, including design/study development and site/field visits during design and construction.
• You will oversee your projects and assist co-workers within our team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Design Lead and/or Project Manager in Civil/Site Development Design projects:
  • Collaborate with teams and clients to develop data, perform technical analysis, and prepare permitting and construction drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Develop Concept, Layout, Preliminary, and Final Engineering Plans.
  • Oversee development of erosion/sediment control plans and utility/utility relocation plans.
  • Manage permit applications.

• Serve as the technical expert in site layout, utility and grading plans, stormwater analyses, reports, and permits.
• Perform civil engineering analyses using various software programs.
• Determine hydrology, develop hydraulic/drainage and stormwater calculations, SWPPPs, and obtain NDPES permits.
• Participate in field observation & inspection of construction activities.
• Communicate with clients on project deliverables.
• Develop and oversee project proposals and cost estimates.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and quality of work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Project Management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for Civil/Site Design projects.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain quality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Team player with reliability and punctuality.
• Client-focused and quality-minded.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of Civil/Site Design experience.
• PE credentialing is required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
