Job summary

Biopharma-Consulting-Jad-Group is seeking a Sr. Chemist to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods, supporting laboratory operations and product quality across the organization.

You will manage instrument qualification activities, troubleshoot analytical systems, and lead investigations to ensure robust, compliant analytical performance.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry and have hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS and Empower 3.

Job description

The Sr. Chemist is responsible for developing, improving, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support laboratory operations and product quality. This role also manages instrument qualification activities, provides technical troubleshooting, and supports laboratory investigations to ensure robust, compliant analytical performance across the organization.

FUNCTIONS

• Perform method development and method improvement
• Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews
• Perform compendial assessments and changes
• Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks
• Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions
• Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues
• Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions

Preferred:

• Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field
• Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM system
• Experience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system

• 12-Months contract with possible extension
