Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Channel Development Analyst to support the dealer network by analyzing data, developing insights, and delivering reporting that informs decision making.

You will partner with Channel Development, Sales, Operations, and other teams to monitor KPIs and improve reporting tools. The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvements that enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, operations, sales support, analytics, reporting, or a related field.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and business intelligence or reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performance reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of dealer, retail, distribution, or channel-based business environments preferred.
  • Travel may be required, up to 20% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and successful execution of business initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries that communicate findings, recommendations, and key business insights to stakeholders.

Position Overview

As a Channel Development Analyst, you will support business performance across the dealer network by analyzing data, developing insights, and delivering reporting that enables informed decision making. You will partner with Channel Development, Sales, Operations, and other internal teams to monitor key performance indicators, improve reporting tools, and support business initiatives. In this role, you will help identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational performance. You will also provide analysis and recommendations that support continuous improvement and business objectives across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions through data-driven insights while partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $83,000 to $109,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
