Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably with Bentley Systems AutoPlant.
• Experience interpreting P&IDs
• Experience guiding and reviewing piping design or fabrication
• Ability to correctly interpret suppliers' equipment drawings and apply them to plant layout
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize work flow
• Good interpersonal skills and self-motivation

Qualifications

• A high school degree or GED, together with 8 years experience in piping design and plant layout in the refining, chemical, or gas processing industries is required. Or an Associates of Science degree in Computer Aided Design or related technical discipline, together with 5 years experience in piping design and plant layout in the refining, chemical, or gas processing industries is required.
• Minimum of 6 years experience utilizing AutoCAD 2008 (or higher) or Microstation V8 (or higher) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with 3D design applications is required.
