Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a senior software engineer in Austin, TX to design and build scalable distributed systems using C#/.NET. The role emphasizes hands-on AI tooling within the AI-Led Development Lifecycle and strong cloud/Docker/Kubernetes experience.

Candidates should have 10+ years of software development and solid knowledge of Kafka, microservices, and NoSQL databases. Financial services familiarity, particularly margins and options trading, is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development in C#/.NET for distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools and AI-Led Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC).
• Strong experience with GCP or PCF and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and API design.
• NoSQL databases such as Aerospike or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of margin trading and options trading.
• 4-6+ years in financial services, preferably brokerage, with margin/option knowledge.
