Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business or related field plus 4 years of procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field plus 2 years of procurement experience.
• Master's degree in Business or related field; JD/PhD in Business may be preferred.
• In lieu of degree, 6+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, contracts, and resolving quality or delivery issues to achieve material cost and inventory goals.
• Analyze supplier cost and pricing data, benchmark competition, and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and quality.
• Develop negotiation strategies within commodities for pricing, terms and conditions, and long term contractual agreements.
• Manage projects from order to closeout, leading cross-functional teams, defining project scope, and ensuring timely completion through effective scheduling, risk, and commercial management.
• Oversee procurement activities by reviewing MRP, maintaining part and PO data integrity, and ensuring timely delivery of components to meet production requirements.

This role also provides leadership in supplier development, risk management, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What you will be doing

• Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and executive management, providing project updates, supporting order management, and facilitating issue resolution across the organization.

Basic Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Business, or related field + 4 years of experience in procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field + 2 years of experience in procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management
• Master's degree in Business, or related field
• JD/PhD in Business, or related field
• In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong negotiation skills and advanced knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
• Proficient in financial/cost analysis and complex problem-solving.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering documents, and production planning requirements.
• Experience with supply chain, materials management, and SAP systems.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
