Job Description

As the Supply Chain Manager at Amazon Key, you will be a thought leader to identify strategic initiatives and work across organizations to manage an end‑to‑end deployment of automation solutions to delight our customers with fast and reliable deliveries. You will work with external and internal stakeholders to design and incubate operating plans, define operating requirements, develop execution plans, and deliver on time and within budget new product deployments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑function teams to manage a project from ideation to execution.
  • Lead the strategic aspect of building and scaling long‑term automation solutions.
  • Lead operational and technology integration efforts.
  • Lead regular communication with all stakeholders, including effective representation during senior leadership reviews.
  • Lead efforts to build scalable mechanisms and standards.
  • Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross‑functional project teams to gain approval.
  • Address barriers through problem solving, communication, and active coordination with stakeholders.
  • Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs, often managing multiple time‑sensitive and high‑priority initiatives simultaneously, ensuring service requirements are met.
  • Systematically escape problems or variances in the operating plan to relevant owners and teams, following through to resolution to ensure solutions are delivered.
  • Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
Daily Activities

This person will lead the effective execution of new automation product deployment across Amazon sites. He will engage on a daily basis with multiple external vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, on‑time deployments and post‑deployment support. This fast‑paced scope requires managing multiple priorities to deliver products that improve safety and productivity of operations. He will also lead communication to external and internal leadership.

About the Team

You will work with a highly motivated team that has strong customer obsession, ownership, bias for action, and delivery result leadership principles.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of supply‑chain experience.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or a related field.
