Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a contract BI developer to build Power BI reports and dashboards backed by Databricks data in a rotating mix of migrations and standardization projects.

You will deliver scalable BI solutions, translate ambiguous requests into scoped deliverables, and collaborate with internal teams and clients while adhering to design standards and best practices. This onsite role is based in Bentonville, AR, and offers competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong Power BI report and dashboard design with DAX and Power Query (M).
• Solid grasp of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and table relationships.
• Comfort working within Power BI capacities (Premium / Fabric) sizing, refresh, performance tuning.
• Databricks experience: SQL, Delta tables, and pulling cleanly from a lakehouse layer into semantic models.
• Proven ability to take ambiguous client requests and turn them into scoped, shippable deliverables.
• Willingness to help define, document, and consistently follow design and naming standards.

Business Intelligence Contractor Power BI & Databricks

We're hiring contract Business Intelligence developers to flex across a rotating mix of work: customer migrations, custom one-off projects, and ongoing standardization efforts. You'll partner directly with internal teams and clients to translate requests into clean, performant Power BI deliverables backed by data in Databricks. This is hands-on build work expect to move between projects and switch context as priorities shift.

Core experience we're looking for:

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bentonville, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
