About this role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Business Case Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and evaluating the feasibility of buy versus make decisions in our supply chain network design. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact our strategic sourcing and manufacturing strategies. This is a crucial role that requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Supply Chain Network Analysis: Evaluate the existing supply chain network, including distribution centers, warehouses, transportation routes, and inventory levels. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform thorough analysis of the existing supply chain network, including supplier relationships, manufacturing capabilities, and cost structures.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from supply chain data, such as demand patterns, transportation costs, inventory levels, and lead times. Develop mathematical models and simulations to optimize network design and evaluate various scenarios.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and potential benefits of buy versus make decisions for various products and components within the supply chain.
  • Conduct cost‑benefit analysis to determine the financial impact of different sourcing and manufacturing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including procurement, production, finance, and engineering, to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support decision‑making processes.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with different sourcing and manufacturing options.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases with clear recommendations and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the implementation of recommended strategies, measure their effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to supply chain network design.
  • Work closely with Commodity Sourcing Team to ensure partner selection is being optimized to support product requirements.
