Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on medical imaging equipment across one or more imaging modalities, including General Radiography, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic systems (R/F), Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Linear Accelerators (LINAC). Provide primary technical support for assigned imaging systems with minimal reliance on vendor service. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving complex equipment failures, performing scheduled and corrective maintenance, completing system calibrations, and verifying equipment performance in accordance with manufacturer specifications, regulatory requirements, and departmental standards. Work collaboratively with clinical staff, Clinical Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities, and equipment manufacturers to maintain the safety, reliability, connectivity, and availability of imaging systems. Coordinate vendor support when necessary while maintaining internal ownership of equipment service and technical issues. Maintain accurate service documentation, preventive maintenance records, equipment histories, and regulatory compliance documentation. Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, acceptance activities, system replacements, and other imaging-related projects as assigned. Serve as a technical resource to clinical and technical staff and assist with troubleshooting equipment, network connectivity, DICOM, and other system-level issues associated with medical imaging equipment.
