Job summary

Jobrapido is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its Wealth Management Engineering team in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions, delivering SPAs and RESTful APIs with a focus on data quality and observability.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Experience building SPAs using Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Solid knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Experience with performance evaluation and tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in accessible design following WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native enterprise apps in PCF/AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools like GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of user stories, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and web applications that support data quality, observability, and transformation functionalities.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain reusable frameworks, libraries, and components for efficiency and consistency.
• Implement unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and optimize system performance.
• Ensure web applications are accessible, responsive, and WCAG 2.1 compliant.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases.
• Proactively detect and troubleshoot production issues with clear communication.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and share knowledge with the team.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Wealth Management Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions that enhance data quality, observability, and transformation capabilities across our wealth management platforms. You will follow technical leadership guidance, implement user stories, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver Single Page Applications (SPAs), RESTful APIs, and reusable frameworks. Your expertise will help ensure our systems are robust, performant, and aligned with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Experience building single page applications (SPAs) using Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Solid knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, including unit, integration, and behavior/feature testing.
• Experience with application performance evaluation and tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in responsive web design and building accessible applications following WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with experience participating in iterative delivery cycles.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as GitHub and GitActions.
• Relational database experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
• Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting production systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
