Senior Azure Cloud Consultant

About the Role

As a Sr. Azure Consultant, you will be instrumental in supporting and optimizing our Azure-based ecosystem, which is predominantly cloud-oriented with a smaller on-premises footprint. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of cloud professionals, manage intricate security and compliance requirements, and help accelerate our migration to a fully cloud-native infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and strategic growth across our cloud environment.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services, including Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or C#; PowerShell knowledge for automation
• Deep understanding of networking concepts such as VNET peering, NSGs, load balancing, and VPN Gateways
• Hands‑on experience with security best practices, Azure Policies, and zero trust principles
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Monitoring and troubleshooting expertise using Azure native tools
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Cloud‑native observability tools
• Prior work in hybrid environments and cloud migration projects
• Experience with Cognitive AI, particularly Azure OpenAI, and security guardrails
• Domain experience in Fintech, Asset Management, or Trading (not required but advantageous)

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience with at least 3+ years specialized in Azure

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, security‑focused environment
• Willingness to engage in initial on‑site ramp‑up and collaborate closely with the team
• Must hold valid US citizenship or Green Card status
