Longshot Space Technologies is seeking an Avionics Engineer to own the vehicle's electronics stack from architecture through flight. You will lead avionics design, qualification, and integration for a gun-launched hypersonic system.
You will build and test the hardware, work onsite in Alameda, CA, and ensure flight readiness under extreme conditions. This role requires hands-on engineering and bold problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

We are hiring an Avionics Engineer to own the vehicle's entire electronics stack from architecture through flight.You'llbe the technical authority on everything avionics: flight computer, C&DH, sensor suite, RF and telemetry, power, and flight-termination systems.You'llalso own the HIL/SIL test bed and the environmental and g-load qualification that proves it all survives a gun launch.
With full end-to-end ownership,you'lldesign electronics that withstand 250g and function through hypersonic flight, build and test them yourself, and move at a pace no large aerospace company can match. If you want to get your hands dirty alongside specialized engineers building something thathasn'tbeen done before, this is the role.
