These positions are onsite in either Fort Worth, Texas or Huntsville, Alabama.

As a world class platform integrator, you will bring together all the aircraft systems and software to ensure the most efficient and safe systems for the pilots and crew. At Bell you will work with suppliers and customers, to meet mission requirements with the latest technology and modular architectures.

Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop cockpits of the future, through integration of sensors, communication, navigation, and autonomy. • Create data interfaces for Ethernet, serial and various avionics bus protocols and support throughout the entire software development life cycle from requirements definition to product deployment.
  • Manage Avionics and Mission Systems suppliers via specifications and statements of work. Estimate and manage schedules, budgets, and technology to customer standards.
  • Collaboration with Bell Engineers from other disciplines to include flight controls, propulsion, airframe structures, rotors, fuel, hydraulics and drive systems. Work directly on the aircraft to test and verify that avionics systems meet performance requirements when installed.

Skills You Bring To this Role:

  • Familiarity with ARP4754A for architecture and systems development.
  • Experience developing and validating requirements.
  • System development and testing in a Systems Integration Lab.
  • Aircraft installation, functional testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving system integration/verification issues.
  • Excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.

What you need to be successful:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. (Other Engineering degrees with relevant experience will be considered.)
  • We are looking for engineers with at least 2 years or more of experience (more years of experience is a plus) in one or more of the following avionics disciplines: RF communications, data links, navigation, crew station design, displays, open processing environments, aircraft survivability equipment, optical sensors, radar and antenna integration, vehicle management systems, weapons systems or health monitoring systems.
