Sr. Aviation Technician – Reading, PA, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Hours may vary)
Perform maintenance and repair work on aircraft machinery, ensuring aircraft within the Quest Air fleet are maintained within federal, manufacturer, and industry standards.
Pay Range
$31.77+ per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on general aviation light twin and turbo‑prop fixed‑wing aircraft.
- Perform work in accordance with federal aviation regulations, manufacturer technical information and industry standards.
- Customer‑focused and works effectively with other staff members.
- Makes independent decisions related to airworthiness.
- Works without close supervision.
- Organizes and prioritizes work and makes accurate log‑book entries.
Qualifications
- Required Work Experience: 3–5 years of aviation maintenance experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, including a broad spectrum of troubleshooting.
- Preferred Work Experience: 2 or more years of PC12 or Turbo Prop maintenance experience is a plus.
- Physical & Mental Requirements: Work with hand tools and with machinery will occur.
- Knowledge: Ability to diagnose aircraft mechanical and electrical malfunctions and identify their maintenance and repair needs; strong background with turboprop and light twin aircraft; must understand and be proficient with a Volt‑Ohm Meter; electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Skills: Use of basic hand tools to comply with job assignments; ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wire diagrams; basic computer skills.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
- Licenses/Certifications: Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (A&P) (Required).
- Work Requirements: Travel Required.
