Job summary

Cox Automotive's Manheim location is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician. You will perform heavy-duty diagnostics and handle advanced repairs, working either independently or with a team.

The role requires 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience and the ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles. This position offers 4 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri), with an eligible $3,000 new-hire bonus.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications A1-9, L1 where applicable.

• May upfit new vehicles with equipment and handle OEM recalls.

Role-Specific Requirements

Senior Automotive Technician - $3,000 Bonus for New Hires

Summary: As a master-level auto tech, you'll perform heavy duty work and the duties of a level 1 and 2 auto tech. Other responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Preferred:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Current ASE Certifications: A1-9, (L1 in emission states) when required by leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Working independently or in a team environment.
• Performing advanced diagnostics.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Identifying required parts and partner with our parts & procurement teams to acquire necessary parts, supplies and materials.
• Alerting team lead and/or management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• May be required to perform OEM recalls.

MCCOX

USD 26.73 - 40.10 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $26.73 - $40.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
