Job summary

Workday Everywhere in Boulder, CO is seeking a Sr. Associate Software Development Engineer to help build end-to-end features used by customers in daily work. You will partner with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and test solutions, while keeping systems reliable as we scale.

You will design, write and refactor robust code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines to deliver production-quality apps.

About the Role

As a Sr. Associate Software Development Engineer on Workday Everywhere, you’ll help build and ship end‑to‑end features that customers use in their daily work. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and test solutions, and you’ll help keep our systems reliable as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with product management and engineering peers to thoroughly design, build, and test comprehensive product features.
• Continuously testing, refactoring, and maintaining code.
• Writing robust, maintainable code, and refactoring to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Actively participating in code reviews.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of work experience in both front‑end and back‑end engineering.
• 1+ years of work experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to rapidly understand JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Proven track record of delivering production quality apps and features.
• Experience with automation and building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins/Github Actions.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork in a highly collaborative environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Desire to think deeply about user experience and provide feedback on design and UX to create intuitive workflows.
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience developing with Microsoft Teams and/or Slack.
• Familiarity building integrations or skills/actions for AI assistants or agentic platforms.

Location & Compensation

Primary Location: USA.CO.Boulder

Base Pay Range: $108,000 USD - $162,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $102,600 USD - $183,600 USD
