This laboratory-based role presents an exciting opportunity to advance novel radiopharmaceutical therapies from bench to bedside. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in vivo studies using CDX, PDX, and syngeneic mouse models to evaluate tumor growth kinetics, biodistribution, and therapeutic efficacy across various pipeline projects. These studies will include the assessment of radiopharmaceutical agents and other therapeutic modalities. In addition to in vivo work, the candidate will perform in vitro mechanistic experiments to explore translational aspects of treatment response. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in in vivo and in vitro pharmacology, demonstrate critical thinking, and possess excellent technical problem‑solving skills. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary teams are essential.
This role requires the ability and willingness to work with radioactive isotopes.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
BS with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years of experience in in vivo pharmacology, translational research, biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline, with hands‑on laboratory experience.
Prior experience working on translational or pharmacology projects in an industrial or academic setting is preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
This position requires working in a laboratory environment. Protective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses are required while working in the laboratory with radioactive materials.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
San Diego - RayzeBio - CA: $95,505 - $115,730
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job‑related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
