Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Retail Partnerships Senior Associate to help drive growth with retailers and CPGs across the US. The role reports to a Sr. Manager, Retail Partnerships and offers flexible time between remote, in-office, and travel to visit merchant partners.

You will lead strategic growth initiatives, coordinate with product teams, manage rollout of hundreds of stores, and design campaigns to engage customers and reduce churn.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of account management, consulting, banking, or strategic partnerships in technology or high growth startups.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business Development and/or Partnerships experience.
  • Experience with Analytics and Presentation tools.
  • Prior investment banking or consulting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in AI & analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Claude).

About The Role

The Retail Partnerships Senior Associate will help steer the company's effort to adopt and partner with retailers and CPGs at all levels of the sector. eCommerce is expanding, and DoorDash is making meaningful strides to become a leader in this sector. You will report to a Sr. Manager, Retail Partnerships. We expect this role to be flexible in terms of time spent remote, in-office, and traveling to visit merchant partners.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of account management, consulting, banking, or strategic partnerships in technology or high growth / early stage startups
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Business Development and/or Partnerships experience
  • Experience with Analytics and Presentation tools
  • Prior investment banking, consulting experience (preferred, not required)
  • Proficiency in AI & analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Claude)

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$106,080—$156,000 USD

The total on-target earnings (base + commissions) for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$132,600—$195,000 USD
