Job summary

McCormick & Company seeks a Sr. Associate Product Manager (Brand) for the Cholula portfolio in a hybrid role at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. You will lead marketing analyses, develop plans, and drive profitability across product segments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, optimize pricing, promotions, and packaging, and deliver monthly performance insights to senior management. A strong track record in marketing and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or closely related business discipline.
• Ideally 2-3 years experience in marketing (CPG preferred).
• Strong Excel, Circana data analysis, and financial analysis.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, creativity, and problem-solving with bias for action.
• Proven ability to collaborate and motivate teams toward results.

This Sr. Associate Product (Brand) Manager will be primarily responsible for business analysis, insight generation, and leading strategic marketing activities for the Cholula portfolio to achieve short- and long-term share goals. In addition, this position will have overall responsibility and/or support for profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, innovation, and research for the Cholula portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include the development and implementation of marketing plans for product segments that support Cholula’s sales and profit objectives:

• Providing analysis of and recommendations relating to product offerings and business results
• Understanding competitive brands and providing action plans to address threats
• Understanding and identifying challenges and opportunities at key customers
• Development and execution of plans that address key issues and opportunities for the segments
• Execution of product line optimizations and cost savings initiatives
• Independently leading cross functional teams and agencies (project management) for new product development, graphics updates, and/or new initiatives to grow the business
• Delivering monthly business analysis for shipment pacing and forecasting through pre-commercial review reports to senior marketing
• Preparing monthly consumption analysis Circana data of key programs and recommendations through the monthly business process reports to senior marketing

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or closely related business discipline
• Ideally 2-3 year’s experience in marketing or a related field (preferably in CPG)
• Strong understanding of Excel, data analysis (Circana – POS & Panel), and financial analysis
• Good written communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership, creativity and problem-solving skills with a bias for action
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and motivate a team to achieve results
• Demonstrated excellent results in professional positions that indicate interest and capability for the role
• Demonstrated success leading and championing business recommendations for senior management

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
