Job summary

QRC Group, LLC is seeking a Sr. Associate EHS with a strong technical background to support capital projects, equipment installations, and EHS activities within regulated industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or higher in EHS or related field, knowledge of EH&S regulations, and experience with PSM, MOC, and LOTO, along with strong communication and writing skills.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and equipment installations within regulated environments.
• Contribute to EHS activities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and manufacturing facilities.
• Assist during shutdowns, startups, and other project-related activities as needed.
• Maintain and communicate EH&S documentation and reporting.

Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Associate EHS with a strong technical background in Environmental Health & Safety to support capital projects, equipment installations, and EHS activities within regulated industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related technical field preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, and OSHA certifications are not required but are highly preferred and considered for this role.
• Knowledge of EH&S regulations, industry standards, and risk management principles applicable to construction, engineering, and manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations within regulated industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in (preferred):
  • Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
  • Management of Change (MOC)
  • Hazardous and Compressed Gases
  • Machine Safeguarding
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Construction Safety
  • Fire & Life Safety Systems
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specifications preferred.
• Support during shutdowns, startups, and other project-related activities outside of normal working hours may be required.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other electronic EH&S management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
