Senior Business Analysts bridge the gap between business and IT by effectively communicating with all stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst will support one or multiple products within the Claims Delivery Team. Core responsibilities include eliciting and documenting business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements; supporting quality assurance testing and UAT; triaging issues, defects, and enhancement requests. They will also provide senior-level support for projects impacting the supported applications.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Collect, challenge, facilitate, and document business requirements/features in an agile environment.
  2. Validate IT solutions for alignment with business requirements, review specifications with development and testing teams.
  3. Work extensively in an Agile environment, including creation and management of user stories.
  4. Review product epics/user stories with senior stakeholders and obtain sign-offs promptly.
  5. Provide technical and functional support for defect resolution and issue triage.
  6. Assist with project vision and maintain requirements traceability throughout product delivery.
  7. Review deliverables and measure quality.
  8. Facilitate user demos, testing, and sign-offs following Agile processes.
  9. Collaborate with Transformation & Change Delivery teams to ensure requirements fit into process flows without gaps.
  10. Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency through requirements.
  11. Participate in daily scrums with technical teams in a global environment.

Reporting to the Release Train Engineer (Delivery Lead), the candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business management, or related field.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of application systems analysis, including SQL queries.
  • Experience working with data and complex systems.
  • Significant experience in P&C insurance.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and P&C Claims process.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies, especially Agile.
  • Ability to create business process workflows and support product roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with analyst methodologies like Use Cases, Business Rules, UI, and Functional Specs.
