Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a seasoned software professional to lead analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of computer software. The role includes taking a lead in supporting application utilization and daily interactions with user areas to solicit and satisfy requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 5–8 years of progressive experience across diverse applications, and strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Five to eight years progressive experience across various applications.
• Proficiency in multiple computer languages and ability to articulate requirements, write clearly, and collaborate with users.

Job description

Education

• Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Science. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience

• Require five to eight years progressive experience in various applications.

Additional Skills/abilities

• Proficiency in several computer languages as required by work environment. Detailed knowledge of various technical environments that support the development of software. Ability to effectively communicate with the user community. Ability to develop requests into logical and clear definitions to facilitate software development. Excellent writing skills and strong people skills relative to user interface. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and function with a minimal level of management interaction.
