Job summary

Tektronix, a Tektronix subsidiary of Ralliant, Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to lead high-speed digital design and validation applications. You will act as a customer-facing technical leader for DDR memory, PCIe, PAM4, DPOJET, and performance probes.

You will independently resolve complex measurement and signal integrity issues, conduct demonstrations, and collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to drive adoption and product improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in applications engineering or related roles.
• Experience with DDR4/DDR5/LPDDR4, PCI Express Gen4/Gen5/Gen6, and PAM4 signaling.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, jitter analysis, and eye diagram measurements.
• Experience with oscilloscope-based debugging and high-bandwidth probes.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert for DDR memory, PCIe, PAM4, DPOJET, and high-performance probe applications.
• Independently resolve complex customer technical issues and escalations involving SI, jitter analysis, and measurement workflows.
• Conduct advanced customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and measurement consultations.
• Partner with sales teams to support opportunities and accelerate customer adoption.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, application notes, training content, webinars, and conference presentations.

This role focuses on DDR memory technologies, PCI Express, PAM4 signaling, DPOJET analysis software, and Tektronix performance probing solutions.As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will serve as a customer-facing technical leader, partnering with engineers developing next-generation computing, networking, AI, and semiconductor technologies.
