Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Sr Analyst Municipal & Stakeholder Engagement to support municipal relations, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and community investment initiatives across the United States.

The role reports to the Manager, Municipal & Stakeholder Engagement and emphasizes collaboration with municipalities, government leaders, and community partners to create positive impact. Travel and a valid driver's license are required as part of coordinating events and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Community Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder relations, municipal affairs, public affairs, community engagement, government relations, or related area.
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Support stakeholder engagement activities by maintaining contact databases, conducting research, and preparing briefing materials.
  • Assist in developing and executing engagement plans with municipal leaders, government representatives, business organizations, and community partners.
  • Coordinate meetings, outreach activities, and stakeholder events, ensuring timely follow-up and issue tracking.
  • Monitor municipal and community developments and support public affairs initiatives through research, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support the administration of community investment, sponsorship, and donation programs, with a focus on Ohio.
  • Coordinate funding requests, track commitments and outcomes, and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Assist with reporting, communications, recognition activities, and measurement of community impact.
  • Plan and coordinate stakeholder, municipal, and community events, including logistics, communications, and onsite support.
  • Represent Enbridge professionally at meetings, community functions, and engagement activities.
  • Support post-event follow-up, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain stakeholder tracking systems, reports, dashboards, and engagement records.
  • Monitor project timelines, coordinate follow-up actions, and support special projects across the Municipal & Stakeholder Engagement and Citizenship teams.

Reporting to the Manager, Municipal & Stakeholder Engagement, this highly collaborative role helps strengthen relationships with municipalities, government leaders, community organizations, business groups, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a proactive, organized professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to initiatives that create positive impact in the communities we serve.

What You Will Do
Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities by maintaining contact databases, conducting research, and preparing briefing materials.

  • Assist in developing and executing engagement plans with municipal leaders, government representatives, business organizations, and community partners.

  • Coordinate meetings, outreach activities, and stakeholder events, ensuring timely follow-up and issue tracking.

  • Monitor municipal and community developments and support public affairs initiatives through research, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Community Investment & Citizenship
  • Support the administration of community investment, sponsorship, and donation programs, with a focus on Ohio.

  • Coordinate funding requests, track commitments and outcomes, and maintain relationships with community partners.

  • Assist with reporting, communications, recognition activities, and measurement of community impact.

Events & Community Engagement
  • Plan and coordinate stakeholder, municipal, and community events, including logistics, communications, and onsite support.

  • Support post-event follow-up, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.

Operational Excellence
  • Maintain stakeholder tracking systems, reports, dashboards, and engagement records.

Who You Are
  • Post secondary education in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Community Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder relations, municipal affairs, public affairs, community engagement, government relations, communications, or a related area.

  • Experience coordinating projects, events, and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with municipal governments, community organizations, economic development groups, or business associations.

  • Experience using CRM platforms, stakeholder databases, or tracking systems.

  • Experience supporting community investment, sponsorship, or donation programs.

Salary:
  • Ranges from $65,800- $85,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
