Job summary

SUMMARY: This position plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Prepared Foods Foodservice and Retail businesses through comprehensive monthly marketing analysis and tracking. You will contribute significantly to the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports, manage the quarter-end close process, and lead forecasting and annual budget planning efforts. Your expertise in reporting and analysis will be crucial in facilitating informed decision-making across the business. You will be tracking financial results of the business through timely and accurate reporting and analysis, establish/maintain accrual rates and compile monthly financial review for category leadership.

Additionally, you will assist in developing strategic long-range plans for the Business Units within the Prepared Foods segment of Tyson Foods. This role demands an ownership mindset and thrives in a dynamic team environment, fostering close collaboration within the Finance team and with cross-functional partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. MBA preferred

Experience: 3-5 years experience in Finance, previous CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess the ability to streamline internal processes along with having strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders

Computer Skills: Strong Excel based skills required including experience with successfully working with large data sets. Experience with SAP Financial applications a plus.

Special Skills: Order to Cash Demand Planning, Poultry or Prepared Plant Operations, and Purchase to Pay Shared Services, and Sales Operations.

Special Skills: MBA or CPA a plus
