AirLife is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Data Science to build predictive models and forecasts for commercial decisions, including demand planning and pricing optimization.

You will develop and deploy analytical solutions, reconcile data, and advance reporting capabilities across sales, pricing, and finance. You will collaborate with business users, automate processes where possible, and ensure data integrity across systems while applying regulatory awareness and best practices.

Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Data Science will develop and manage data and reporting solutions that support multiple business functions at AirLife, with a strong commercial focus including sales operations, pricing, marketing, and finance. This role will place emphasis on driving the technological capabilities of the data analytics teams, including applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and forecasting to commercial questions such as demand planning, pricing optimization, and churn risk. Key responsibilities will include reconciling distributor tracings, contracts, and GPO affiliations to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and compliance across systems. Beyond reporting, the role will drive process improvement initiatives through optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and data reliability across commercial workflows, using experimentation and measurement to validate what works.

Position Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques to business problems.
• Designing experiments and measuring outcomes to validate analytical solutions.
• SQL data modeling in a relational database.
• Power BI report development and deployment.
• Understanding general business processes and how reporting/automation can contribute to accurate decision making and increased efficiency.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Establishes good working relationships with business users and other analysts to support the overall AirLife reporting culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Knowledge of FDA and ISO guidelines is preferred.

Level Of Experience

• Experience building predictive models or forecasts in Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R or other programming tools.
• Experience with project management lifecycles.
• Experience with general business processes, requirements gathering and report building.

Level Of Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.

Travel

• Less than 10%.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develops and deploys machine learning models, statistical analyses, and forecasts to support commercial decision making, including demand planning, pricing optimization, and churn risk.
• Creates and maintains reporting for key business users, primarily through Power BI and Excel. This includes being part of the entire report development process from requirements gathering, data modeling, development, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Project manage key data analytics initiatives by leading requirements gathering, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and delivering solutions.
• Find opportunities to help business users and increase efficiency throughout the business, including through automation and predictive analytics.
• Understand and communicate with business users about new and existing reports, general AirLife data and AirLife business processes.
• Works as an SME of our data and tools to help inform business users on options and best practices to support their functions.
