Boardwalk Pipelines, LP in Houston is seeking a Sr Analyst, Cloud Security to protect the organization’s cloud environments, services, applications, and data. You will collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to deploy secure cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT or cybersecurity with hands-on cloud security experience, deep knowledge of AWS and/or Azure security, and strong incident response skills.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure security technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM, MFA, SSO, least privilege, and access controls.
• Experience with security monitoring, logging, SIEM, and incident investigation.
• Understanding of cloud networking, vulnerabilities, and secure configuration practices.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, MFA, and least privilege.
• Investigate and respond to cloud-related security events and incidents.
• Develop and maintain cloud security monitoring, logging, alerting, and automation.
• Perform security assessments and recommend remediation for identified risks.
• Partner with IT and application teams to secure cloud deployments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for cloud security issues.

We are currently looking for a Sr Analyst Cloud Security for our Houston, TX office.

Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Cloud Security is responsible for protecting the organization’s cloud environments, services, applications, and data. This position provides hands-on technical expertise in cloud security, including access controls, security monitoring, risk identification, incident response, and automation. The role works closely with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure cloud technologies are deployed and operated securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including identity, access, and least-privilege practices.
• Investigate and respond to cloud-related security events and incidents.
• Develop and maintain cloud security monitoring, logging, alerting, and automation.
• Perform security assessments and recommend remediation for identified risks.
• Partner with IT and application teams to incorporate security into cloud solutions and deployments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend security improvements.
• Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for cloud security issues.

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity with hands-on cloud security experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure security technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM, MFA, SSO, least privilege, and access controls.
• Experience with security monitoring, logging, SIEM, and incident investigation.
• Understanding of cloud networking, vulnerabilities, and secure configuration practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, & Experience

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud security posture management and security automation.
• Experience with SIEM, Microsoft Entra ID, scripting, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS, and other security frameworks.
• Cloud/security certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS Security, or Microsoft security certifications.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.
• Cloud or cybersecurity certifications applicable to the position
