Capital One is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Capital Markets & Analytics to support the Derivatives Middle Office, performing trade affirmation, hedge checks, and daily reporting to ensure SLA compliance.
The role requires automation experience and strong communication skills in a fast-paced financial environment. Applicants should have 2+ years in financial services and a background in SQL/Python, with familiarity in Bloomberg/Excel.
The Derivatives Middle Office team, under Capital Markets and Analytics, services the Corporate Treasury and Commercial Banking line of business through derivative trade support for products intended to provide protection against interest rate and FX exposures. The team is responsible for trade maintenance, monitoring of life cycle events and reporting in compliance with Swap Dealer regulations.
The Sr. Associate for Derivatives Operations should have financial product or Treasury/Bank Operations knowledge. The candidate should be able to demonstrate solid analytical skills and excellent communication skills. The candidate should also have the initiatives to improve the efficiency of existing processes to support the business needs.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 for Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
