Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Pricing Strategy professional to develop and communicate market pricing strategies for Optifreight and related products. You will lead pricing and value-capture efforts, leveraging analytics to guide negotiation and standard offer designs.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure profitability targets and accurate data updates from external sources, while supporting ongoing process improvements and delivering timely pricing insights.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Experience working with Excel, Salesforce, SQL server (running queries) preferred.

• Manage a Salesforce case queue, focusing on meeting customer facing deadlines.
• Participate in operational pricing tasks such as pricing tier loads, customer pricing research, credit and rebill requests, and competitive invoice analysis.
• Responsible for weekly/monthly/yearly updates to our tools with the most relevant information from FedEx and other data sources.
• Assist the team with improving current processes both internally and cross-functionally.

What Pricing Strategy contributes to Cardinal Health

Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. Pricing Strategy acts to set overarching deal and product pricing strategies, provides guidance on value to help inform the negotiation strategy, and creates standard offer designs and target profitability for each business unit or customer segment.

This role will directly support Cardinal Health's Optifreight business.
