This means understanding everything that needs to be measured and how to do those measurements in the most highly automated fashion possible. This also means reporting out those measurements in the most concise, clear and comprehensive possible ways. The Analog Validation Engineer is responsible for assuring all instrumentation, scripting and boards are prepared prior to silicon arrival on the bench.

Job Description:
  • Build parametric validation plans from electrical specifications.
  • Write software to configure device under test (DUT) for required test cases.
  • Create hardware automation sequences to perform parametric measurements over process, voltage, temperature, and DUT configurations.
  • Analyze parametric data to report pass/fail/margin to electrical specs and generate summary reports.
  • Interface with Design, Product & Test Engineering, Applications, Software, Product Analysis teams to debug IP-related issues.
  • Research and recommend hardware required to perform required measurements.
  • Generate hardware design requirements and participate in schematic and layout reviews.
Job Qualification:
