Job summary

LHH in Chicago is seeking a Senior AI & Machine Learning Developer to lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise AI and ML solutions. This hands-on role requires ownership across the full lifecycle and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI initiatives.

You will work with Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Search, Python, SQL, and Databricks, building AI agents and automation while ensuring robust MLOps practices and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting AI/ML applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Search, and generative AI solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying machine learning models, AI agents, and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, including model versioning, automated deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AI and machine learning solutions, from architecture and development through deployment and production support.
• Design, build, and maintain AI/ML infrastructure, applications, models, and intelligent agents.
• Develop solutions utilizing Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Python, SQL, Databricks, and related cloud technologies.
• Support agentic AI development using technologies such as Copilot Studio, Agentforce, Joule AI, Azure AI Foundry, and related integration tools.
• Identify emerging AI/ML technologies and evaluate their potential business applications.
• Build reporting and dashboards to monitor model performance, accuracy, usage, and adoption.
• Establish strong documentation around systems, models, architecture, technical decisions, and processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define use cases, requirements, success metrics, timelines, and implementation plans.
• Promote strong software engineering and MLOps practices, including code reviews, testing, deployment automation, model monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Position Summary

A well-established organization is seeking a Senior AI & Machine Learning Developer to lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise AI and machine learning solutions.

This position will play a key role in expanding the organization's use of generative AI, machine learning, intelligent agents, predictive models, and automation. The developer will own critical AI/ML platforms and integrations while partnering with business and technology stakeholders to build secure, scalable solutions that improve processes and decision-making.

This is a hands-on technical role with significant ownership and visibility across the organization.
