A tech-driven insurance marketplace is seeking a Senior AI Data Scientist to drive data and intelligence strategies that enhance marketplace performance. The ideal candidate will leverage analytics to provide actionable insights, collaborating with various departments to operationalize findings. We are hiring a Senior AI Data Scientist to serve as the intelligence engine behind Solvable’s marketplace, media, pricing, and monetization strategy.

Your Impact

You will build and operate Solvable’s AI‑driven intelligence layer across four core domains:

• Detect performance inflections across Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
• Identify which sources deliver the strongest combination of quality, match rate, revenue, and margin.
• Surface early warning signals before CAC or quality degradation becomes visible in topline metrics.
• Analyze buyer pricing, acceptance rates, and downstream performance at granular subsegment levels.
• Recommend routing and yield strategies that maximize partner profitability while preserving scale.
• Model buyer behavior under changing volume, pricing, and quality constraints.
• Diagnose funnel friction across chat, call, and landing experiences.
• Model revenue‑per‑lead, call duration thresholds, and quality breakpoints.
• Recommend pricing and monetization changes informed by predictive and anomaly‑detection models.
• Evaluate creative performance by angle, headline, format, channel, and audience.
• Connect upstream creative signals to downstream value metrics (RPL, RPC, GP).
• Inform rapid testing cycles and creative iteration with decision‑grade insights, not vanity metrics.

Responsibilities

Define and execute Solvable’s data and intelligence strategy in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Media. Build analyses that move from observation → hypothesis → recommendation → action. Use LLMs, predictive modeling, and anomaly detection to accelerate root‑cause analysis and insight velocity. Collaborate with Product to operationalize insights into routing logic, experimentation frameworks, and automated decision systems. Lead weekly performance and intelligence reviews with senior leadership. Translate complex data into crisp, confident recommendations that shape strategy. Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and inflection points before they show up in P&L results.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–8+ years in data science, product analytics, growth analytics, or decision intelligence roles in high‑velocity environments.
• Demonstrated track record operating as a decision partner, not a reporting function.
• Strong command of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Advanced proficiency with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) and Python for modeling and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with MLinformed techniques such as regression, classification, uplift modeling, forecasting, and pricing sensitivity analysis.
• Practical experience connecting experimentation (A/B, multivariate, Bayesian) to business outcomes.
• Use AI as a default interface, not a novelty.
• Experience leveraging LLMs (OpenAI, Claude) for exploratory analysis, anomaly detection, summarization, and pattern discovery.
• Familiarity with agentic or semi‑agentic workflows (LangChain, tool‑based orchestration, automated diagnostics).
• Comfort building systems where insights surface automatically, not only when someone asks.

Compensation & Equity

Base Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 + performance‑based bonus.

Equity: The equity you will receive should eventually be worth more than 5x, maybe even 25x of your annual compensation, if we respectively do our jobs correctly.
