Aevexaerospace is seeking a Sr. Aeromechanical Engineer in Tampa, Florida to tackle complex engineering challenges in UAS products. In this senior role, you will lead design efforts from concept to production, making impactful technical decisions and guiding a small team through rapid development cycles.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of 8 years in a technical capacity. AEVEX offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
Active Top Secret DoD clearance preferred, U.S. Citizenship required.
Onsite with occasional travel.
Sr. Aeromechanical Engineers work to solve the nation's hardest problems through rapidly deployed technology solutions. This job is a lead aeromechanical engineer that takes napkin sketches of airplanes and robots to final production. We work with small teams to move fast and make fielded systems. Here you will lead a small agile team to make these systems a reality from napkin sketch to 1.0 prototype.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a progressive technical capacity within an engineering organization
