Honeywell's Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) team is seeking a talented engineer to work within our R&D Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, engineering processes, and cross-functional teamwork. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient execution of Honeywell’s Global Design Model (GDM), enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration within R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. KPI Management and Reporting: Assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and STRAP planning and execution. Provide monthly reports on R&D KPIs and develop action plans for areas needing attention.
  2. Project Management: Manage planning, execution, and delivery of operations-related projects. Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Track progress and resolve issues.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate activities among R&D, product management, and other stakeholders. Foster communication to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance engineering operations and implement best practices. Develop and refine processes for increased efficiency.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and deliver project updates to management.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Ensure adherence to policies and standards.

The annual base salary range is $122,000-$145,000, subject to various factors including experience, education, skills, and market considerations.

Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in technical or project management within R&D.
  • Strong understanding of R&D operations and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Office 365).
We Value
  • Knowledge of PPM tools like Accolade, Cora.
  • Experience with Chemical/Petrochemical/Gas Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
  • Cross-functional program management experience.
  • Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
