Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Senior Adjuster to investigate and adjust property and casualty claims, residential and commercial, with limited supervision. The role requires examining policies, preparing cost estimates, conducting interviews, and negotiating settlements.

Travel to claim sites is expected; strong communication and client relationship skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, IIA-AIC designation, and an active state adjuster license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with professional certifications as applicable.
• IIA-AIC designation required or in process within 12 months.
• State adjuster license required for property and casualty claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust property and casualty claims, residential and commercial, with minimal supervision.
• Inspect claims and contact involved parties promptly to determine coverage and damages.
• Examine policies to determine coverage and estimate costs for repair or replacement.
• Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses, negotiate and settle 1st and 3rd party claims.
• Maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Travel as required to inspect and settle claims.

IIA-AIC designation required.
