Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Acquisition Logistician to support the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive logistics strategy at Robins AFB.

This full-time position requires strong DoD acquisition experience and leadership. You will coordinate cradle-to-grave logistics for weapon systems, review program documents, and ensure milestones are met across MSA, Technology Maturation, EMD, Production, Deployment, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of acquisitions experience, including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced knowledge and ability to lead junior staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and web apps.
• Knowledge of DoD logistics policy, AF systems, and life cycle cost.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing or reviewing program office documents for acquisition and sustainment logistics.
• Support milestones across phases from Materiel Solution Analysis to Operations and Support, including all milestone activities.
• Coordinate cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics for weapon systems and subsystems, integrating supply, maintenance, procurement and QA.
• Monitor milestones and performance criteria across program offices.
• Assist in the development of logistics support and ILS plans and programs.

Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Acquisition Logistician to support the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy at Robins AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
• Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases, to include all milestone activities.
• Assist with the planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned weapon systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain the system fielding.
• Assist with monitoring functional and organization compliance with milestones and performance criteria.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of taskings.
• Assist in the continuous evaluation of the status and effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure adequate support plans and accurate time phased schedules.
• Assist in the development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans as well as systems acquisition requirements analysis.
• Assist in the management, monitoring, evaluation, and coordination of ILS implementation.

Qualifications

15+ years experience in acquisitions including at least 5 years working in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Possess the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in the technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Acrobat, and web applications. Knowledge of logistics policy and guidance to include Federal and DoD guidelines and all applicable AF systems. Understands the theories and principles of ILS planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well structured, and viable program. Demonstrate a working knowledge of logistics and maintainability programs to include, but not be limited to, product support RAM-C program test and evaluation planning and execution, technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources. Demonstrate an understanding of budgetary or financial analysis and control and life cycle cost analysis and control. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
