Job summary

AerCap Materials Inc. has an immediate opening for an Accounting Policy Analyst. The role researches technical accounting issues, updates internal policies, and ensures US GAAP/SOX compliance for aircraft supply chain operations in Memphis.

The position supports auditors and strengthens financial controls across inventories and assets. You will participate in policy management, SOX testing, and cross-functional training while contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial compliance experience.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SOX testing and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Policy Management: Research complex accounting standards and update internal accounting policies.
• SOX Compliance: Design, test, and monitor quarterly SOX internal controls and operational workflows.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews and year-end testing.
• Process Improvement: Identify control gaps and streamline financial processes within inventory and asset distribution systems.
• Cross-Functional Training: Advise operational teams in Memphis on compliance requirements and accounting updates.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance related field

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Strong knowledge of US GAAP

Hands-on experience with SOX testing and internal controls

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

JOB SUMMARY

AerCap Materials Inc. has an immediate opening for an Accounting Policy Analyst. The Accounting Policy Analyst researches technical accounting issues, proposes updates to accounting policies, and helps maintains internal financial controls. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements for aircraft and engine component supply chain operations.

Educational/Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
