Siegwerk in Morganton, NC or Des Moines, IA seeks a Sr Accounting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for the CUSA entities, ensuring US GAAP compliance and driving process improvements.

You will manage GL, Cost Accounting, and Inventory teams, coordinate internal and external audits, and work with tax specialists to support strategic business decisions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive accounting experience.

We are currently seeking a Sr Accounting Manager to be based out of our Morganton, NC or Des Moines, IA business unit office.

We will not sponsor employment visas for this position now or in the future. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the CUSA entities.
• Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies, U.S. GAAP, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Manage and develop the Accounting and Cost Accounting teams.
• Oversee all cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis and inventory controls.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Support tax compliance activities and collaborate with internal tax specialists and external advisors.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, account reconciliations and intercompany transactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams responsible for General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliations, Month End and Year End Close, Intercompany Accounting and Audit Coordination.
• Experience within multinational manufacturing organizations strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing accounting functions supporting businesses with annual revenues exceeding ~200/250 million USD.
• Solid leadership experience managing teams of approximately 5 to 7 FTEs.
• Extensive experience in cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Strong background in monthly and Yearend closing processes.
• Experience coordinating both internal and external audits.
• Experience with complex intercompany accounting and multinational reporting structures.
