The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations, including posting entries to the general ledger, analyzing data, managing month‑end close processes, and collaborating with employees throughout the organization. This position also works with third‑party auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
