Job Description - Sr Account Manager (Remote) (STR000050)

The Senior Account Manager is a key sales role on the tower sales team responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities to meet revenue growth targets. This role involves overseeing relationships with national and regional customers, primarily focusing on generating new business and maintaining customer relationships.

  1. Develop and execute strategies to achieve tower revenue growth targets.
  2. Negotiate pricing structures and lease terms to maximize revenue; manage master lease agreements with major customers.
  3. Manage the revenue pipeline and provide accurate, timely revenue forecasts.
  4. Build strong relationships with key contacts in network real estate, RF engineering, supply chain, and related departments.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, especially leasing operations, to ensure seamless execution and communication.
  6. Promote tower assets and colocation opportunities to potential customers.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs and plans.
  8. Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to enhance market presence.
  9. Serve as the subject matter expert on customer contractual issues.
  10. Assist with sales and marketing activities, including website content, email campaigns, social media, and presentation materials.
  11. Travel approximately 25-40% of the time.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least seven years of experience in a similar role within a tower company, telecom carrier, or site acquisition firm.
  • Strong understanding of tower leasing and wireless carrier needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships with wireless carriers.
