Voldex, a leading Roblox gaming company, is seeking a Sr 3D Generalist to shape immersive worlds for Driving Empire and other titles. You’ll produce high-quality 3D assets that meet live-game performance standards and collaborate with the Art Lead and game team to push visual excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a 3D Artist in Roblox or equivalent.
• Strong Roblox Studio experience with optimization focus.
• Knowledge of mesh topology and asset optimization.
• Portfolio with Roblox environments, houses, and stylized worlds.
• Ability to adapt to an established art style and collaborate.

Responsabilités

• Review work from other artists and drive improvement iterations.
• Own end-to-end delivery of 3D assets from brief to integration.
• Coordinate with Art Lead to align direction and surface risks early.
• Manage execution to ensure style consistency and on-time delivery.
• Assess requests and raise risks before production flags.

Role Overview

Driving Empire is one of the largest driving games on Roblox, with billions of visits and a passionate global community. We're looking for a Sr 3D Generalist to help shape the world players explore every day—from houses and city environments to props, roads, event spaces, and partnership content.

In this role, you'll create high-quality, performant 3D assets that align with Driving Empire's distinctive visual style while meeting the technical demands of a live Roblox experience. You'll collaborate closely with the Art Lead and game team, bringing creativity, craftsmanship, and optimization expertise to everything you build.

What You’ll Do

• Review work from other artists in assigned areas and drive iterations with clear, actionable feedback to meet the quality bar
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned 3D assets (housing, props, tools, environment, gameplay content, and SFX/VFX when required) from brief through integration
• Coordinate with the Art Lead on assigned areas: align on direction, run reviews, and surface risks or ambiguity early
• Assign and manage execution across Art Lead–designated content areas to ensure style consistency, performance budget compliance, and on-time delivery
• Assess asset requests and design documentation before production flag pipeline or implementation considerations, elevate to Art Lead on risks
• Partner with the game team to resolve art issues (visual bugs, polish, integration fixes) and keep assigned areas shippable
• Use creativity and insight to add value to asset requests, ensuring alignment with art lead and game team goals

Who You Are

• 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in Roblox, or equivalent freelance/independent game development experience
• Strong Roblox Studio experience with a deep understanding of optimization and performance best practices
• Strong knowledge of mesh topology, efficient asset creation, and optimization techniques
• Portfolio showcasing Roblox environments, buildings, houses, map locations, or similar stylized game worlds
• Ability to adapt to and execute within an established art style
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, feedback-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Passion for cars and car culture!
• Experience working with licensed IPs and established brand guidelines
• Experience building roads, cities, or large-scale environments
