Job summary

Squad Security is seeking a Professional Security Officer for a part-time, on-site role in the Bay Area, CA. You will protect client property and personnel, adhere to site policies, and respond to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires active or retired law enforcement experience, a valid CA Guard Card, and strong communication and crisis-management skills, plus the ability to work in varying environments and lift up to 40 pounds.

As a Professional Security Officer, you will be responsible for the Security and Safety of our client’s property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and respond to emergency’s as appropriate, while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be Active or Retired Law Enforcement Experience Required
• Must have a Valid CA Guard Card Required
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public, in a professional and effective manner
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
