Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator to support Navy and Marine Corps missions in Washington, DC. You will help design, maintain, troubleshoot, and sustain Navy production networks, working with in-house teams to translate IT needs into secure, effective solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years with SQL Server Standard, 2+ years with VMware, and hold a Secret clearance, with Security+ or IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Standard.
• 2+ years of experience with VMware.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Security+ or IAT Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the ongoing design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical sustainment of Navy production networks.
• Coordinate work with in-house teams to translate customer IT needs into a plan that enables secure and effective solutions.
• Lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to balance security and Navy mission needs.
• Support Navy mission operations by ensuring the security and reliability of systems.
