Job summary

COOLSOFT is seeking an Analyst to support modernization of an enterprise tolling platform, using .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and Azure in a hybrid team. The role focuses on backend services development and integration with SQL Server on Azure VM, within an Agile setting and CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate will collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers, reporting to the Development Manager. Start date 6/30/2026; End date 06/30/2027.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Description:

The .NET Developer will support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using micro services and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.
